How do I know if my trim is rotted?
Press a screwdriver into the wood. Sound wood resists; rotted wood is soft and the tip sinks in. Peeling paint, dark staining, and trim that has pulled away from the wall are the other tells.
Can you just paint over wood rot?
No. Paint seals moisture in and hides the problem while it spreads into the framing behind it. The rotted section has to be cut out and replaced, then primed and painted.
Do you repair or replace fascia and soffit?
Both. We replace only the damaged runs, match the profile, and prime and paint so the repair disappears. If the rot has reached the rafter tails we will tell you before we start.
How much does wood rot repair cost in Atlanta?

Do you use PVC or wood for the replacement?
